The AAEP’s and the AAEP Foundation's new International Headquarters building, known as the Kester Building, serves as a modern headquarters for our changing profession, bringing together all the needs of a growing association in one place. With two floors, the new headquarters offers the room for flexibility, collaboration and growth that our organization needs.
The AAEP has been diligent in saving funds over the years in an effort to build its own headquarters. Located in the National Horse Center at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky., the headquarters is only 200 yards from its former home. The new building, which opened in early 2015, now provides ample space for the AAEP to host meetings, educate visitors and provide enhanced services to its members—now and into the future.
While philanthropic support is not critical to this project, all gifts will go towards future improvements and building enhancements, thereby allowing more funds to be available for member programs and services to support its mission of improving the health and welfare of horses. However, a number of AAEP members and others have expressed interest in helping with the building project and providing a legacy for themselves, a mentor or others they wish to honor and recognize for service to the profession within the Headquarters building.
